Credibility restored
After ruining my "credibility" with less than stunning election predictions, I'm seeking to restore the lost credibility so that I can continue to collect substantial income from running this blog.
Along those lines, I will not remind anyone that long ago I predicted that the Monroe County Fair expo building would be done long before the county's new commmunications building.
It looks like the county building finally is getting wrapped up. But the real question is whether it came in under budget.
I'll go out on the limb again and predict it will end up well over budget.
Will I be right or wrong this time?

If Debbie Manns would have been in charge of the project, then I would bet it would be over budget. She couldn't even put in a sprinkler system without going over double the budget. Yes, I mean the splash park. Over $100,000 over budget.
Get over it Smith! It was a one time deal as I understand it and how many other projects in the last two years went over budget?
What about the "gift" of the Ice Rink from your pal Al? Why aren't you bitching about that? BTW your pal Worrell also was responsible for giving us the "gift" of the Ice Rink. Every time I take my kid to play hockey I see all of their names on the plaque out there to show the people just what jackasses they were, and still are!

So I guess it is true; some people do use the ice rink. I guess if I were so PO'ed about it, I would take my kids up to Yack or the Ice Box instead.
Anonymous #2, you use the ice rink yourself from what you have posted. Would you rather have to drive twenty miles away for your kid to play? Figure up the gas you would burn. If you take that number, I'm sure it is much higher than the amount of your taxes which actually goes to the ice rink, although I'm not sure as to the amount of taxes you pay in your historic home.
What is anion’s issue with Smith, perhaps David Alkire Smith—Google it out like alacajun and see the stature of the men whose boots you would like to lake a leak on. Some people can achieve success as smith and others have by hard work and earn a good reputation by being good at many tasks. IACO and Floraday can’t be entrusted with anything other that a certainty that they will flub up and trample the rights of citizens.

Here Smith at his own expense used engineering expertise to design a robust system. Had this system been deployed, we would not be patching it at greater expense than doing it right the first time. David Smith does need to get over an inflamed right wrist and needs to practice with 38 special rounds for a while and only use the Smith N frame model 29 dirty Harry 44 magnum if accosted and he cannot reason with them to get their sorry being on the ground or run away.
Smith does seem to do a good job with putting up with stupid rabble wondering who gave him permission to bring a camera. The lampoon family on Toll Street is especially dim witted. The only way anyone can get to smith is to file charges that are lies. Let’s let this crap rest and let Compora get on with her lawsuits.
